The fridge was well stocked and we enjoyed the extra treats.
The location was really nice, despite the bad weather. Unfortunately, we couldn't take a canoe out, but we loved the alpacas.

The fridge was well stocked with plenty of treats and there were even homemade goodies waiting for us when we arrived. the room had a spacious shower with great water pressure, and there were plenty of soft towels provided. the front porch had a comfortable seating area and a beautiful view of the water.
The soundproofing in the rooms was not very good. We could hear the other guests in the adjacent room, so we can only imagine that they heard our conversations and TV as well.

our second stay in peterborough was even better than the first. liftlock guest house exceeded our expectations with its beautiful location on the canal, well-equipped kitchenette, and spacious, clean suite. the fresh baked goods and juices in the fridge were a lovely touch.
Noise from the neighboring room was a minor inconvenience.

The location on the canal was simply unbeatable, especially for enjoying a peaceful and serene break away from the buzz of the city. the suite was well-stocked with a fridge full of drinks and snacks which was a welcome surprise, and the comfortable bedding made it easy to relax. the screened porch was my favorite part of the suite, where I could sip my coffee and enjoy the beautiful view from the comfort of my own space.
The shower in the bathroom could have used some maintenance, as it leaked water onto the bathroom floor. the lack of privacy between the adjoining rooms was noticeable, as I could hear my neighbors pretty clearly.

The room we stayed in had ample towels provided, which was a plus. The shower also had good water pressure. The kitchenette was well-equipped with a good coffee maker and toaster. We also enjoyed the location, which was really close to downtown so we didn't have to travel far.
The other guests in the hotel were loud and we could hear their conversations and TV shows through the walls. It was really frustrating and made it hard for us to sleep.
